President Obama's birthplace:

On July 31, 2009, I sent an email to the Office of the Governor of Hawaii, Republican Governor Linda Lingle, and to the Liaison office of the Governor. On August 3, 2009, I received a reply to my question about President Obama’s birth record from the Governor’s Liaison office. This article is submitted as an answer to the question. The following is the correspondence and the verifying link provided by hawaii.gov/health. All it took was an email to the Office of the Governor of Hawaii. I submit this information to set the record straight and to counter the lies being spread by the losers of the 2008 presidential election. Therefore, below is a copy of my email and of the response.

Then I searched for a local newspaper announcement of President Obama's birth in The Sunday Advertiser, August 13, 1961, page B-6, column 1, which reads: Mr. & Mrs. Barack H. Obama,... son, Aug 4.

Although I am a strong President Obama supporter, I don't understand why the note is satisfactory verification.

Unless there is some reason that the birth certificate of any President of the United States is not available, why isn't it shown as evidence.

This reminds me of President Bush's record of guard duty. Why are these public records so difficult to attain. It causes me to wonder if power figures make available only what they want, not what the public deserves.

Who freaking cares about Obama's birth record anyway? He's turning out to be just as lousy as any of the morons he ran against in 2008, and no better than any other the other lobbyist-bought-and-paid-for Dems that he was nominated over. The spirit of our nation's beautiful Constitution is going to continue to erode unless and until there's a truly progressive voice in the White House, and Obama ain't that voice, regardless of where he was born.
