President Obama's birthplace: On July 31, 2009, I sent an email to the Office of the Governor of Hawaii, Republican Governor Linda Lingle, and to the Liaison office of the Governor. On August 3, 2009, I received a reply to my question about President Obama’s birth record from the Governor’s Liaison office. This article is submitted as an answer to the question. The following is the correspondence and the verifying link provided by hawaii.gov/health. All it took was an email to the Office of the Governor of Hawaii. I submit this information to set the record straight and to counter the lies being spread by the losers of the 2008 presidential election. Therefore, below is a copy of my email and of the response. -------- Original Message -------- Laurie Yoshida: Does President Obama have an official record of birth in Hawaii? Unless there is some reason that the birth certificate of any President of the United States is not available, why isn't it shown as evidence.
This reminds me of President Bush's record of guard duty. Why are these public records so difficult to attain. It causes me to wonder if power figures make available only what they want, not what the public deserves.
